What to Expect When Filing an Insurance Claim When your business needs to file an insurance claim for a damaged roof,we can help.  Woodall’s staff are commercial insurance claim experts.  Here are some of the steps in the process and what you should expect. Step One: Getting a Certified Inspection The first thing we provide for your insurance claim is a professional certified inspection of you commercial roof.  Our inspection covers all aspects of your roof structure and materials. You should only file a claim when it is absolutely needed. In some cases a few minor repairs is the better and more affordable solution. When there is significant damage we will recommend the claim and provide the details for your adjuster to clearly see the damaged areas. Step Two: Getting an Estimate After we have done a thorough inspection of your building roof system. We will provide you with an estimate that covers the total cost.  The estimate gives clear details of the cost of materials, cost of labor and the time frame to have it repaired. Step Three: Reviewing Your Insurance Contract Before contacting your claim adjuster we will look over your claim details to make sure you are completely covered and there are no unnecessary surprises. A good and typical insurance policy will cover your buildings roof damage that is related to tornado, hail, water and high winds. However, every insurance company and claim are not always the same so we will review your contract details and advise accordingly. Step Four: Contacting Your Insurance Adjuster When needed we will talk to your adjuster to answer any questions regarding your roofs damage and the cost to repair or replace. There is no additional cost to you for our help. Your local insurance adjuster is familiar with our company and estimates.
